Customs officers detained 400 undocumented perfumes in the luggage of a passenger on a bus traveling from Turkey to Romania.
Around 08:00 on 10.09.2020. the vehicle arrives on the route “exit” at the border checkpoint Danube Bridge – Ruse. Customs officers diverted him for a thorough check. One of the passengers was traveling with 8 boxes of luggage, which he provided for inspection. In them, the inspectors found perfumes and eau de toilette from a number of famous brands (Paco Rabanne, Bulgari, Hugo Boss, Dior, Versace, Chanel), among which the largest number are the fragrances of Paco Rabanne – 80 and Versace – 105 of two varieties.
The customs officers have requested documents for the purchase of the perfume products, as well as customs documents for their introduction on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and the European Union. Such were not presented. An act for establishing an administrative violation has been drawn up for the passenger. The goods have been seized, and it remains to be seen whether the perfumes are imitations.
