The Minister of Finance Asen Vassilev congratulated the customs officers on the occasion of their professional holiday – July 7.
“In the activity of the revenue administrations the Customs Agency occupies an extremely important place. I wish the employees in the customs administration to continue to work hard, honestly and transparently, upholding the principles of their professional code on a daily basis, “the congratulatory address reads.
“In recent months, the Customs Agency has achieved a significant improvement in financial results. Significant progress has been made in combating customs and currency violations. Together we have laid the foundations for future development in order to raise the professional prestige of this responsible organization, “said the Minister of Finance.
“The Bulgarian Customs Administration has numerous and varied powers, so that today celebrate not only inspectors but also lawyers, financiers and economists, chemists, administrators, technicians and all other professionals who are an important and equal part of the Customs Agency.” points out Mr. Vassilev and wishes the customs officers health and personal satisfaction.
“Let your professional achievements continue to raise the prestige of the profession, the trust of the society and to support the economic development of our country!”, Concluded Minister Asen Vassilev.
