The total monthly revenues administered by the Customs Agency in September 2022 amount to BGN 1,219.9 million and exceed the revenues from the same month of the previous calendar year by BGN 201.4 million (19.8%). The most significant is the reported growth of VAT on imports and customs duties.
For the nine months since the beginning of the year, the “Customs” Agency has collected revenues from excise taxes, VAT on importation, duties and fines in the amount of BGN 9,981.7 million. Revenues increased by BGN 2,214.7 million or 28.5% compared to the same period of 2021.
In accordance with the principle of transparency and openness, the “Customs” Agency publishes at the beginning of each calendar month in the section “About us – the Agency in figures and facts” data on the performance of the revenues per pen.
