10,122 smuggled perfumes were detained by customs officers in the area of the DunavBridge Vidin – Calafat border checkpoint.
On 30.05.2022, around 10:30 am in the area of the border checkpoint, the customs inspectors stopped for inspection a minibus traveling from Turkey to Poland.
The driver of the vehicle showed documents according to which the transported goods are textiles.
During the inspection, the customs officers established the presence of many boxes of perfumes, which are not described in the documents.
41 boxes of 10,122 perfumes from 11 different world brands were seized.
The driver has been issued an act for administrative violation under Art. 233, para. 2 of the Customs Act.
